Diseño de MOOCs Gamificados: Estrategias para Aumentar la Motivación de los Estudiantes
(2023-11-21) Darien Manuel Miranda Barragán y Yefer Iván Lopez Idrobo
MOOC courses are a learning modality through the Internet that allows easy access to thousands of students, however, their constant abandonment is a very common and interesting problem. With this problem, the present research work seeks to identify whether the implementation of gamification in MOOCs can be considered as a motivational means for participants. In this way, a course was created in Moodle, using the ADDIE instructional design model, where gamification techniques and elements were implemented with the use of the game, h5p, level up xp – gamification, certificate and the genially tool plugins. The results obtained in this research show us that the implementation of gamification in the MOOC course was a motivational means and that it helps to promote the learning of the participants. In addition, the implementation of a certificate as an incentive motivates students to increased participation and successful completion
