dc.description.abstractThe Purpose of the AGRICULTURAL EVALUATION IN THE RURAL COMMUNITY OF THE MUNICIPALITY DE MOCOA DEPARTMENT OF THE PUTUMAYO, is to maintain a text that us of a shallow idea of the behavior of the agricultural and cattle Sector of the Municipality conformed by all the sidewalks that in this they also intervene that it serves us as reference, support and this way to have a compass that guides us in new studies. Of the fifty two interviewed sidewalks those were named that are with more representation in cultivations for the municipality of Mocoa. In transitory, annual and permanent cultivations they were planted in total 1.499 there are, the cultivation but field with 33% is the banana represented in 494 there are, the sidewalks with more sowed hectares were, Risaralda the Pasera, Esmeralda the Sardine, The Palms in Port Lemon, the Border of the Landscape and san Joaquín. In second instance he/she is the corn with (415 Have) 28% distributed in more proportion in the sidewalks San Joaquín, Condagua, third instance the yucca (276 Have) 18%, the sidewalks with bigger cultivation of this tuber were the Border one, Condagua, Yunguillo, for the cane the representative sidewalks have Campucana Old Town, Planadas and Rumiyaco. For the case of the fruit-bearing ones the chontaduro registration an area with more plantation with a total of 50 has equivalent to 57%, among the sidewalks with more cultivated hectares have, the Cayman, Palms of Port Lemon, Esmeralda the Sardine. As second important cultivation we have the grape caimarón that is one of the representative fruits of our municipality with a percentage of 25%, it is necessary to score that for the grape caimaron we don't find monocultivos, this percentage represents the siembra total in the municipality. The other species of fruit-bearing as araza, borojo, orange, papaya, mandarin, cocoa and guava pear are distributed in small parcels and they use them for supply of the home. The area in grass dedicated to the bovine activity was of 4.172, distributed this way: for the livestock Creole 62% and the sidewalks but representative in hectares we have Yunguillo, Condagua, San Joaquín, the Tavern, for the race Holstein 22% with approximately we have the sidewalks Tebaida, The Florida, and The Tables and for the race Zebu 13% we have to the sidewalk Rumiyaco, Caliyaco, Condagua, Ticuanayoy, for the race Brown Swiss 3% The Tebaida, The Tables, The Florida.
